Since so many people asked, i shall talk about the scouts job week.
Job week often happens during the March holiday.
All scouts in Singapore, including the Ventures and Rovers(advanced form of scouts) are supposed to go out to find jobs to earn money for our scouts fund, although most of the time people just donate.
I reached my target in two days. Only did a few jobs. Cleaned a flower pot for an old aunty, wiped windows, jobs of that kind.
There was this joker maid. I knocked on the door, she opened it, then a very cute dog ran out of the house. Then I said, I am a scout from River Valley..
She closed the door. The dog is still outside. So I had no choice but to sit there and play with the dog. Luckily the dog is very cute if not I would have thought of how i would go about roasting it. After about 5mins, the door opened again, this time the owner came out and passed me 2 dollar note and said thank you for taking care of my dog. I was totally confused by this family.
